Newfoundland (6-3) over BC (5-4)

Newfoundland has the better record here . They did lose a heartbreaker last night to New Brunswick.Hopefully they can rebound. Let's take Newfoundland at +170 for 3/4 unit.

PEI (1-8) over Northern Ontario (4-5)

PEI is actually curling better percentages than Northern Ontario. They have a few tough breaks and are missing key shots.Northern Ontario has been very inconsistent and are in a must win situation.PEI has been eliminated from playoff contention. They will play loose and relaxed with nothing to lose. Take PEI +150 for 3/4 unit.

Well the clock appears to have struck midnight for Brad Gusue's Newfoundland rink.They were beat easily this morning by Pat Ryan of BC 9-1.We also suffered a tough loss a PEI battled gamely but lost 7-6 in extra ends to Northern Ontario. So with the two losses we dropped 1.5 units and I have lost my last 4 plays.My record stands at 16-11 (+6.857 units).At this point only 3 teams have been eliminated from playoff contention (MB PEI Y/NWT)

Manitoba -110 over Yukon/NWT 3/4 unit

Yukon/Nwt find themselves in a tough scheduling spot playing their 3rd game in less than 24 hours.Manitoba was off this morning so they should be relaxed and rested and hopefully not hungover. This one is for pride only . Let's go with Manitoba for 3/4 of a unit at -110.

Newfoundland +110 over Nova Scotia1/2 unit

I sometimes look to play on a team after they have been badly defeated. Newfoundland has crashed back down to earth after a great start. Despite a 6-3 record I am not completely sold on the Mark Dacey rink of Nova Scotia.From top to bottom they haven't curled as well as their record indicates. Let's try Newfoundland again but only 1/2 unit at +110.

Alberta (team1) vs BC (team2) Friday at 7:00 pm EST
